About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Chloe, I’m the owner of Golden Hour!

After a brief time in the healthcare industry and 6 years as a nanny, I went back to school. I still wanted to take care of people but I also wanted a change. So I enrolled in 2020 and decided last year (2022) to start my own business.

My background in healthcare made for a really easy transition into the esthetics industry. I knew I wanted to specialize in waxing and I wanted to make sure that clients felt really comfortable. I credit a big part of that easy transition to my experience caring for people in vulnerable situations. And because I was around so many normal, human bodies, there’s never been a time when I felt uncomfortable while waxing.

I just want women to be able to get any service they want and know they’ll feel comfortable. Creating that has given me such a purpose.

When I’m outside of the salon, I’m with my border collie Zoey. We both love the beach and the hot summer weather. I swear I feel like a completely different person the second the sun hits my skin. When we’re not at a local lake, you’ll find me on a patio, at a concert or rewatching a tv series for the millionth time. The rest you’ll learn once we’re becoming friends in the treatment room!

Golden Hour

Golden Hour exists to be a warm, welcoming space for all women. Whether you’re a teen coming in for your very first wax or you’re retired down by the beach. Maybe you can afford all the treatments you want or maybe you have to budget for the service that means the most to you. Every single woman that walks through my door will be made to feel safe, in control and beautiful. We don’t do diet culture and we don’t tolerate hate in any way.

You should be excited to come in for your appointments. If you have questions or concerns, I want to know what they are. I believe in delivering a great result but it’s also important to me that you know how to properly take care of your skin from home. I want you to know the reasons behind my aftercare rules so you know why it’s so important.

Being in the industry taught me a lot of things including what I didn’t want for my clients. I believe in standing behind the things that I say. Being a safe space for all women isn’t a marketing ploy here. So if you’re looking for a genuine experience and a great result, I’ll see you soon!
